Grumpy Old Men: Mad About Hypocrisy (Video)

It's been a while since I've shared a sermon with you, and it's been a while since I've listened to one from my alma mater, so I knew it was time to find something worth listening to and worth sharing.

I was pleased to find one about David, since I've been reading so much about him lately.  (You can see my posts about that here and here.)  This is a great look at David, Bathsheba, and Nathan.  I hope you'll listen and share.

There is also an audio only version here.

  1. Hi, Kirra! Great discussion! I definitely believe that we are spiritually at war. We are the hated enemy of the evil one. I believe, as the Bible says, that Satan is the ruler of this world. He will affect each of us in any way that he can, and he never plays fair. The fact that many do not believe in his or his demons' existence, plays right into his hands.

"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." - Ephesians 6:12

  2. I don't know how we can believe in angels and not believe in demons. The Bible says so much about both. I really believe much of the evil in the world is the result of demon activity. Thank you for bringing the subject to our attention. It is something we all should find out as much as we can about.

  3. I agree; ignorance may be bliss, but it certainly isn't beneficial!

  4. We shouldn't be afraid because we have authority, but we should be knowledgable so that we can defend ourselves!
