Week of Thankfulness Blog Hop

Thanksgiving is almost here!  I hope that you have a lot of reasons to be thankful this year.  I want to share some of the things I am thankful for, and I hope that you will, too.  I'm participating in InAllYouDo.net's Week of Thankfulness blog hop, and if you're a blogger and are feeling thankful, I hope you'll join in.  If you write a post about being thankful this week, come by this post or Annette's post to link up.

And now, here are some things that I am thankful for this year.

T - Teachers.  I have had some great teachers over the years, whether in school or outside of school.  I feel like those people have shaped my life in tremendous ways, intellectually and spiritually.

H - Health.  I tend to be a hypochondriac, so I am very glad that I have had good health, in spite of my worries.

A - Adrian!  My husband and I have been married for six and a half years, and almost every day, I am reminded about how perfect he is for me.  We have our problems like any couple, but I can't imagine being married to someone else.

N - New technology.  I am not always up on the most recent innovations, but I am glad that we are always trying to make things better and easier.  I am so glad that we don't have to use a typewriter unless we just want to.  We don't have to hand wash our clothes, and we can write a letter, make a phone call, email, text, or video chat with our loved ones.

K - Kids.  I am thankful for the kids in my life.  There really aren't any in my life that I see every day, but there are a handful that I love spending time with.  I am also thankful that I don't have any kids of my own right now.  I want them, but I don't want them before we're ready.

F - Friends.  I’m an introvert, so I've not really had a lot of close friends over the years, but the ones I have had have been pretty great.  I'm not close to all of them these days, but I am thankful for the time each of them were part of my life.

U - Unity.  Unity is a hard thing to come by, but knowing that you are aligned with other people in your goals is a pretty great experience.

L - Language.  I am not a very good speaker, but I love to write.  There's something about laying words out, whether on paper or on the computer, and then changing them and reordering them so that they say exactly what you want exactly how you want.
