Jungle Warfare is a 22-day study for the Christian
salesperson. It takes the theme of a
manual for a soldier in the middle of war and translates it into a battle plan
of sorts for a Christian who works in sales for a living. Besides the 22-day study, there is a small
section at the back with questions and answers concerning certain topics that
Christian salespeople, and often Christians in general, might ask.
The book’s format was very interesting, but I found it to be
almost a little overwhelming. It seemed
to me that the three different aspects of warfare, Christianity and sales all
together was a little much to take in.
But I am not very interested in the warfare or battle strategy. I also do not work as a salesperson. The book just wasn’t for me.
But for the person in sales, I think this could be very
useful in changing the way you look at your job, especially if you can catch
hold of the warfare analogy. This book can
help you to look at your work in light of your faith and help you become a better
salesperson. The author seems to be a
committed Christian and experienced in the field of sales, so anyone who is
looking for a little help being a Christian salesperson, this may be a way to
find it.
